Find answers about shade sails, umbrellas, outdoor covers, installation and product care.
Triangle Shade Sails are well suited to smaller or irregular spaces and are often used to create layered or angled shade designs. Square and rectangle Shade Sails provide more consistent coverage and are better suited to patios, seating areas, car ports and larger outdoor spaces where full shade is required.
Choosing the right size shade sail starts with measuring the area you want to shade, not just the sail itself. Allow for a gap of around 10–15% between the sail and your fixing points to accommodate hardware and proper tensioning, as shade sails stretch slightly when installed. Laying the sail out beforehand can help you visualise the positioning before installation.
